Banitch Chiropractic has been serving the Montclair area for over 70 years, caring for 3 and even 4 generations of some families. Dr. Margaret Banitch is a third generation chiropractor. The practice was founded in 1939 by Dr. Margaret's grandfather, the late Dr. Felix Banitch. He purchased the current building in 1950.  Dr. George Banitch practiced at this location for 60 years until his death in 2008. Dr. Margaret is honored to carry on the family tradition caring for many patients who began their journey to better health with Dr. Felix or Dr. George.

Dr. Margaret Banitch joined the practice in 1984. She graduated cum laude from Colgate University with a BA in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating magna cum laude. She is one of less than 200 chiropractors specializing in the Blair Upper Cervical technique. She is a certified Blair Upper Cervical technique instructor and is a current member and past president of the Blair Upper Cervical Chiropracitc Society. She was awarded Chiropractor of the Year by the Blair Society in 2001. She is a current member and past president of the Montclair Rotary Club. In addition to chiropractic she enjoys most sports, travel and spending time on her sailboat.

Dr. Margaret has received upper cervical chiropractic care since her infancy. She has enjoyed 50 + years of good health while avoiding unnecessary drugs, shots and surgery. She invites you to see if upper cervical care can help you achieve better health for you and your family.

The front desk is managed by Maria. We were pleased to have Maria join the practice in 2004. Maria, her husband and three daughters all receive upper cervical care from Dr. Margaret.  Maria enjoys travel and directing her church choir.  She looks forward to greeting you, handling all your scheduling needs and any questions you may have.
